A Healthy Brain

Did you know that the composition of your brain is 80% water?  It is also much more delicate than you think.  If you find that your memory is not as good as it used to be or you are having difficulty concentrating and focusing, it may be because your brain is being deprived of oxygen, or you are engaging in activities that are damaging your brain.  Here are some things you can do to maintain good brain health:

  • Take at least 1000 mgs. of fish oil every day.
  • Drink at least 64 oz. of water every day.
  • Limit the amount of caffeine you ingest daily because it constricts blood flow to the brain.
  • Do not use nicotine because it constricts blood flow to the brain.
  • Exercise daily, but do not engage in activities where you are at risk of hitting your head against hard objects.
